Having servers in-house that offer an array of platforms just is't cost effective for us.  We scowered the hosting world for the best performing and cost effective solutions for our customers.  We exhausted several trial periods and ended up going back to the emphamis Rackspace, a hosting service that i have nothing but good thigns to say about.  Rackspace is the leader in hosting and has perfected thee key elements of hosting: customer service, performance and uptime.  A fairly new division of Rackspace called Mosso quickly caught my eye with their delivery of Cloud technology.  I wouldn't say cloud hosting is new, but it's deffinately received a lot of buzz and from the tests we performed it exceeded our expectations for most applications.

For those applications that are a bit more specialized and needed a little more attention, a customizable hosting service was needed and VPS seemed to be the best fit.  One of the biggest complaints of big company VPS providers is they oversell their accounts and you end up with an underperforming headache.  It didn't take long to stumble upon Slicehost as almost every customer review resulted in five stars.  Aimed at those who don't mind getting their hands dirty with a little installation and configuration, Slicehost allows us to easily address our custom hosting solutions without sacrificing performance and affordability.

We don't believe in shortcuts and we may not be big, but we're working with some giants in the hosting industry to provide our clients the best service and performance without the giant price tag.  Our Mosso cloud hosting addresses the needs of most clients and produces amaizing load times at a great price.  Or custom and dynamic heavy clients can sleep well knowing that Slicehost tecnology is there when it counts.  We think we made some solid hosting solutions to pass on to our clients that will knock the socks off the $9/month shared services.
